Supervision for Pre-Licensed Social Workers
Now that you have earned your masters, its time for you to grow professionally and apply theories learned in school. As a supervisor and mentor, I provide safe place for pre-licensed clinicians to develop skills and explore professional development. Supervision with me is provided through virtual sessions. I meet the qualifications as an Approved Supervisor in Washington State and California.
Topics commonly discussed during supervision:
- Law and ethics per NASW
- Development as a clinician
- Self-care as a professional
- Boundary setting with clients
- Diagnostic skills
- Treatment planning
- Mandated reporting
- Cultural competence
- Work related stressors
- Relationships with colleagues and management
Currently only accepting supervisee’s in **Washington and California via distance supervision. If you are working in either an educational, government, non-profit or *medical facility setting to participating in online supervision.
** Washington’s Department of Health will allow up to 60 hours of distance supervision for social workers working towards independent licensure.
